Hema-Free Base Coat Gel
The HEMA-Free Base Gel is a protective base designed to keep color gel polish from touching the nail bed — perfect for clients with sensitive nails or allergies. It delivers smooth, even application and superior chip-resistant adhesion while maintaining a gentle, non-irritating formula. TPO-Free.
“My HEMA-Free System was created specifically for people who have nail sensitivities and allergies. My favorite part of the HEMA-Free System is that you can turn any gel manicure into a HEMA-free nail service, while still using your favorite color gel polishes.”
— Tammy Taylor

NOTE:
Many nail products in the industry contain HEMA. The Tammy Taylor HEMA-Free System encapsulates those products, keeping HEMA from touching the nail or skin.
HOW IT WORKS:
The HEMA-Free System creates a protective “sandwich” that encapsulates any gel polish containing HEMA or TPO between the HEMA-Free Base Gel and HEMA-Free Top Gel, ensuring no direct contact with the nail or skin.
Step One: Apply HEMA-Free Primer Bond and HEMA-Free Base Gel to create a barrier.
Step Two: Apply your favorite gel polish color.
Step Three: Finish with HEMA-Free Top Gel to fully encapsulate the color.

WHAT IS HEMA?
HEMA (Hydroxyethyl Methacrylate) is a common ingredient used for adhesion in gels and monomers. While safe for most users, a small percentage may experience allergic reactions. The HEMA-Free System provides a safe alternative without sacrificing performance.
